A leading technology company developing advanced multidisciplinary systems is seeking a Mechanical Design & Analysis Engineer to join its mechanical development team.

This role is ideal for an experienced mechanical engineer with strong expertise in mechanical design, packaging, and engineering analysis, who thrives in complex technological environments and enjoys working across multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities:

• Take part in the development of advanced mechanical systems within a multidisciplinary engineering environment
• Design and develop mechanical packaging and ruggedized enclosures for sophisticated technological systems operating in demanding environments
• Design industrial and environmental enclosures with emphasis on thermal management solutions, including passive and active cooling methods
• Perform mechanical simulations and analyses including thermal, structural, and dynamic evaluations using engineering simulation tools
• Support the mechanical aspects of electronic assemblies and hardware systems integration
• Collaborate closely with R&D, system engineering, electronics, manufacturing, and project teams throughout the product lifecycle
• Support transition from development to production, including manufacturing readiness and engineering optimization
• Oversee and support mechanical manufacturing activities with subcontractors, including inspections and integration support
• Participate in system installations, field activities, and customer-facing technical support בארץ ובחו"ל בהתאם לצורך

Requirements:

• B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering – required
• At least 5 years of experience in mechanical development within complex technological environments
• Proven experience in mechanical packaging and enclosure design for multidisciplinary systems
• Strong experience in thermal management and cooling solutions (passive and active methods)
• Hands-on experience performing structural and thermal analyses – required
• Strong ability to work across interfaces with engineering teams, management, and customers
• SolidWorks proficiency – required
• Experience with PDM systems – required
• Experience with ERP systems – advantage
• Experience in marine, underwater, or ruggedized systems – significant advantage
• High level of English – required
